To Our Valued Clients, Business Partners & Friends

As we continue to adapt and navigate the unprecedented impacts of the COVID-19 crisis, we are focused on the health, safety and well-being of our clients, employees, families and friends, while continuing to deliver on our commitments we have made to you. Our Management Leadership Teams are proactive in doing our part to minimize the spread of the virus and supporting our communities.

We have implemented steps to mitigate the risks of exposure for our workforce and the clients we serve in accordance with directives from federal, state and local government agencies. As a result, we are maintaining our business operations with minimal onsite staff to provide uninterrupted service to our clients. Many of our employees are working remotely utilizing technology to provide the quality services and responsiveness we have been delivering for over the past 52 years.

Please be assured we remain dedicated to your project deliverables and project schedules. We have given our staff new mandates and the technological tools to allow our business operations to function with as much normalcy as possible. Our staff has various options to work in a manner that protects their health and safety:

  • All employees have the ability to work remotely from home. Staff is encouraged to work from home if they can function efficiently.
  • All field personnel will continue to work with recommended preventative and health safety measures.
  • Employees mobile phones have been adapted to receive calls from calls coming through our office phone system.
  • We have enhanced our IT resources, increased broadband width and VPN access to improve remote access capabilities.
  • We monitor the following policy changes:
  • Posted warnings at all Western Region offices of the COVID-19 protocols.
  • All Western region Offices are closed to the general public, but small client meetings may be arranged.
  • Potential sick employees are directed not to enter and to contact their manager.
  • Employee temperatures are taken upon arrival and logged confidentially.
  • Maintain social distancing of six (6) feet.
  • Canceling all seminars, conferences and offsite training programs until further notice.
  • Enhance office cleaning/disinfecting of common use areas.
  • Washing hands regularly per recommended guidelines.
  • Disinfect office/workstations for all employees.
  • Encourage telephone, email and texting for internal and external communications.
  • Encourage video conferencing for client, contractor and interoffice meetings.
  • Eliminate all unnecessary travel.

Poggemeyer and CMWorks have implemented these commonsense measures to minimize risk and provide the continuity of service to you. As always, we appreciate your business, support and trust.

Adversity brings out the best in people and our team has risen to meet these challenges. We are here for you during these difficult times. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Larry V. Carroll, P.E.
